http://www.vb-helper.com/HowTo/dragpic3.zip   Purpose Overlay a picture on another and allow the user to drag it quickly.   Method Use a hidden PictureBox to store the background image. To move the foreground object, erase it using BitBlt to draw from the hidden picture to the visible picture. Use BitBlt and the image mask with op code MERGEPAINT to knock out the mask.
