MapEdit was created by Michael Lambino (Prometheus Software) - Copyright (C), April, 1998. This little readme file details the necessary files you will need to successfully load MapEdit in the VB5 IDE. Generally speaking you should have Microsoft Visual Basic 5 with the Service Pack 3 installed on your system. Please refer to the MapEdit HelpFile (located in \Help\MapEdit.hlp relative to the directory that you've installed this file into) for references where to download the service pack 3 release. Also on your system you will have to have the following components and references installed and/or correctly registered. NOW one note ... the zip file that contains all this information should automatically unzip certain files in their default directory paths ... Ensure that they do by viewing the zip file before extracting (or see end of this file). Please note you are bound by the license agreement in the MapEdit.hlp file installed with this project.
